Booking Your Kenai River Fishing Trip.

To reserve you dates, call, email or text us your trip info and requested dates.

Double Haul tries to keep customer service at the forefront of our guided fishing trips and often will not answer calls during guided days immediately. We will respond to your calls ASAP, and we can always help you find a Kenai River fishing guide even if our guides are already booked.

 BOOKING POLICIES, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS


Thanks for choosing Double Haul Fly Fishing. We pride ourselves in offering the best experience possible, every-time. Double Haul always strives to follow all itineraries and schedules as presented. Obviously, weather, fish runs, safety conditions, and other unforeseeable circumstances may occur, forcing a change in planned events. We do our best to make sure that you well aware of these variables, and if they happen, we will work with you to find he best possible solution/alternative.

We highly suggest utilizing trip insurance for all inclusive packages. In the instance that an emergency comes up, you are then not stuck holding the entire bill. That makes us happy as well. It is a very short season in Alaska, requiring our policies to be firm to make a living doing what we love. Thank you all for your understanding.

DEPOSITS, & PAYMENTS


Deposits schedule for lodging/fishing packages.

When booking a fishing and lodging package, 50% of the trip total will be due upon booking. The trip balance will be due 60 days prior to the trip dates. Listed trip prices do not include gratuities, and a 3% Kenai Peninsula borough tax.


Deposit Schedule for daily fishing charters.

When booking a fishing charter alone, 50% deposit is due upon booking. The remaining 50% balance will be due seven days prior to your guide trip date. Trip prices do not include any gratuities, or the 3% Kenai Peninsula borough tax.


Final Payments

We gladly except most forms of payment, including check, credit card, bank transfer, or cash. Guess using a credit card will see a 3.5% credit card processing fee. Your deposit invoice will have a free bank transfer option to avoid such fees if you choose.

 

CANCELLATIONS


Packaged trip cancellation policy

180 days to trip date or prior – no charge.

90-120 days – $200 per person cancellation fee remaining balance refunded.

60 days or less – trips are non-refundable


Daily charter cancellation policy

90 days or more – no cancellation charge

30-90 days – $100 per person cancellation charge.

30 days or less – Full trip deposit is non-refundable.


Double Haul does it’s best to work with all of our family of clients to work around any unforseen hiccups that may occur regarding your trip. Obviously things occur so please call us as soon as you may have an issue and we will do our best to work with you to find a good solution.
